Lookout Mountain Nature Center

Where we went:  Lookout Mountain Nature Center
What went wrong:  Arrived too early to go into the Nature Center
What we did right:  A good place to learn about trails, an easy first hike.
How you can avoid mistakes:  This is a good place for kids.

We chose the Lookout Mountain Nature Center trail as our starting point because the trail looked easy and short.  We had no idea what Colorado hikes would be like, what we'd need, or even if we could make it to the end of a trail.  It turned out to be easy and pleasant, and an easy first hike.
